Most people can’t choose what state of their life they are in. They don’t know if they want to grown-up or stay a child because with growing up there will be responsibilities that comes with it. Well did you ever consider that the different states that you go through in life could be like the different seasons? In order for a season to change it has to move on to the next state, which would be the next season. When flowers bloom in the spring they are just born. Like flowers spring for us would be like us coming out of our shells and just trying to live our life without the worry. Well I think that the different states that we go through in our life are like seasons. I am growing up by act responsible, when my mom tells me to come home after school tomorrow will walk through the door on time. I’m in the early summer part in my life because I am mature which, shows that I’m growing up. At the same time still have someone to provide for me, which would make me still in the spring part of my life. So believe that am in my early summer, late spring state in my life.
First of all, believe that am in my early summer state my life because am responsible. I can be trusted to keep my grades up. I don’t need people to watch my every movement to make sure that I am doing what need to. Responsible would be a quality that I have because am dependable and do what am told. I have shown that I can stay focus without being forced to. I don’t have my mom yelling at me because I just got my report card and it wasn’t good. I am able to maintain good grades and stay out of trouble, which shows that I am growing up, and making the right choices in life.
Secondly, believe that am in my early summer state of my life because am mature. When I am in school don’t act childish. I know when it is a time to play and a time to be serious. I have goals that will affect my future and plan to accomplish them. I am motivated and have a plan for my future. I am not the kind of person that acts childish playing around in school all day not doing my work. I am more like the kind of person that sits in her seat and take note and try to better my future.
Lastly believe that I’m in my late spring state of my life because I still have someone to provide for me. When go home after school go to my mothers house because don’t provide shelter for myself. At dinnertime look in the refrigerator to see what want to eat, but it don’t matter because it not up to me. When I need new clothes ask my mother for money to get some. I am old enough to work, but choose not to. That part of my life would make me like Miss Lottie in the story called ‘’Marigolds’’ because she did not want to move on. Miss Lottie planted flowers, which might have been a symbol of youth, which showed that she was not ready to move on but she wanted to maintain her youth. After her flowers were destroyed she realized that she couldn’t stop what must happen. So she was capable of moving on but she didn’t want to. This relates to me because am capable of getting a job to provide a little for me but choose not to which if I did I would move completely to the next state in my life.
To sum it up, I believe that am in the early summer, late spring state in my life because like a flower that just bloom not ready to move completely to the next state in my life, which would be summer. I am in the early summer state in my life because am responsible because do what am told. The state in life my life now is early summer because am mature because I am focus and I set goals that want to accomplish to have a better future. I am late spring because still have someone to provide for me which shows that I have not grown up completely.

For Poets Essay:
Poem express how people feel and they can even change the way you feel at that time. They can make you feel happy or sad so is that the reason why we like them or is it more. Well a poem I enjoy was called ‘For Poets’’. The reason I enjoy that poem was because it included a good use of vocabulary, it included comparison, and it had a good rhythm to it.
First of all, I enjoyed the poem ‘’For Poets’’ because I like their use of vocabulary. Their choice of words all stayed on topic and just random thoughts. In the poem a verse stated ‘’Come on out into the sunlight, breathe in trees’’. This verse used the words sunlight and trees, which connects because trees need sunlight to grow. The choice of words sounded very smooth because they all lead to the same thing, which happened to be the main topic. The main topic of the poem discussed people who live their life in the shadows and how those people are afraid to come out into the light and live their lives.
Secondly, I liked the poem ‘’For Poets’’ because it included comparison. In the poem a verse ‘’but don’t stay down underground to long, don’t turn into a mole…’’ which compared people who hold their head down to a mole in a hole in the ground. Another verse in the poem said ‘’Come on out into the sunlight, breathe in trees’’ which means that we need to live our lives and don’t be afraid to them to the fullest.
Lastly, I enjoyed the poem called ‘’For Poets’’ because of the rhythm. ‘’For Poets’’ had a very nice flow. It all came together and the poem had no words that sounded out of place. In the poem a verse stated ‘or’ Don’t turn into a worm or a root’’ which all flowed together because they all live underground. The included repetition too. The author used repetition when repeating the word ‘’or’’ when comparing the different things that live in the ground. I like how everything all connected to each other. One of the verses said ‘’Come out into the sunlight, breathe in trees’’. In that verse sunlight and trees connected because trees need sunlight to live and that connects to the whole purpose of the poem. It connects to the whole purpose of the poem because when the poem starts off, it’s about people that need to live their life and come out of the shadows and in order to do that they have to come out into the sunlight. Like the trees, we need to be in the sunlight to live a successful life and to live our life to the fullest.
To sum it up, I enjoyed the poem ‘’For Poets’’ because I liked their use of vocabulary, I like how they included comparison, and I liked the rhythm of the poem. ‘’For Poets’’ flowed together and there was nothing that went off topic. This poem included a good positive message that shows people that you need to live your own life and not how other people think you should live it.
