Huckleberry Finn should not be allowed in school

Is Huckleberry Finn a book for children? Well I believe that this book Huckleberry Finn should not be allowed at school for children to learn about. The reason I believe that is so, because it is a bad influence for children, it is harmful to others, and it express religion.

First of all, Huckleberry Finn is a bad in fluence for children. In the story Huckleberry Finn (a child) asked if he could smoke and they said no, but he did it anyway. That part of the story tell me that he does not listen. Think about it do you want your children to go against your wishes. In the story huckleberry drink which is a bad influence on children because it is tell them it is ok to do that. In the story Jim (a child) ran away from home. Not just one or two blocks, but to a hole another island. That tells me that it is saying it is ok to run away from home.

Secondly, the book Huckleberry Finn is harmful to others. Every three or four lines they use the word nigger in the story. That word is offensive to people and some people might take it the wrong way. In the story there are slaves and someone might think it means that everyone is not mean to be equal. What you just read in this paragraph is offensive to people in many ways.

Lastly, Huckleberry Finn should not be allowed at school because it expresses religion. In the story I noticed that it was a refinish person who had a slave. Most refinish people believe that everyone should be equal, so why do she own a slave. In the story it also talked about the necklace that Jim had. Jim says that it can keep the witch away from him. It was like a good luck charm, but who he says gave it to him is involved in religion. Religion is also not suppose to be allow to be touched in school anyway.

To sum it up, the book Huckleberry Finn should not be allowed at school. For these main reasons, it in a bad influence, it is harmful to others, and it expresses religion. So why should a book that has so much bad stuff about it be allow in school were children learn.
